On a fated night in mid- June I met four other ladies for a little late night business meeting at Jones in West Hollywood. Jones is a great place and I’d been told that these ladies had been coordinating some equally awesome projects.
And so I joined forces with This Is What We Imagine (TIWWI), which is a L.A based Art Collective bringing together videographers, DJ’s, musicians, set-designers, producers, artists, and everyone in between to work on various projects, parties, and events in the L.A area. Think about if all all the greatest most talented and motivated people in Los Angeles all got together, pooled their collective brain and creative power, and had an amazing love child and named it TIWWI - it’s kindof like that, but real and… BETTER.
Night Lights debuts on July 25th in Downtown. Folks, it’s not a difficult decision for you nor is it a hard sell on my part. If you want to dance, do art, hear awesome music, walk by an edible terrarium (I give you one guess at who is working on THAT portion of the event), write in a giant book with a life size pencil, lounge around in hand made ti-pi’s and have a whole lot of F.U.N… then by all means, COME.
Oh and did I mention? The event is 100% benefiting 826LA -we’re celebrating this non-profit’s contribution to Los Angeles youth as it has created an outlet for kids to learn creative writing skills and get the literary support and encouragement.
