CIAT Report - Climate Change and Agriculture
January 26th, 2010
I’m cheating on my own blog. It’s true. Most of my blogging energy is going towards our project website, and this one has been left in the dust. But I hope to just slap up some interesting tidbits here and there and keep you somewhat informed about how things are shaping up in my little corner of international agriculture development. Nothing fancy, just some bare bones links and the like.
In that spirit, here’s a great report on our work thus far in Climate Change and Agriculture. If you think that human beings are resilient and will innovate no matter what, you’re completely right. Does that release us from a responsibility to mitigate climate change, doubtful. We may not feel the effects in the dramatic world and life may not change too drastically for many years- but the lives of the global poor will. Like all injustices, they will feel the effects most intensely and most immediately.
